Warning! The outing follows the FBI team as they deal with a heated college protest that turns deadly when someone is bludgeoned to death. In addition to the protest, Jubal faces a moral dilemma when his son, Tyler, is one of the protestors arrested.
After Tyler, played by Caleb Reese Paul in the FBI cast, announced that he was interested in joining the FBI, an arrest would put that path in jeopardy. When Jubal sees his son arrested, he tries to reason with the NYPD officer to let his son go and eventually succeeds in FBI season 7, episode 5. Jubal’s choice to leverage connections for his son’s release leads to a call from the NYPD Commissioner complaining about the abuse of power. Jubal gets suspended from the Bureau and receives backlash from Tyler, who didn’t want him to intervene.
FBI Season 7’s Mini-Break Means It’s Taking Longer To Confirm Jubal’s Fate
While the latest episode left audiences wondering about the fate of Jubal, they are going to have to wait longer than expected. Sadly, FBI season 5, episode 6 is not set to air until December 3. CBS has not given a specific reason for the one-week hiatus, but it may be related to Thanksgiving. Instead of airing episode 6 two days before Thanksgiving, the network decided to air reruns of FBI instead.
Regardless of the intention of the hiatus, taking more time to reveal what happens with Jubal will keep audiences thinking and energized about the show. It is important to give audiences reasons to come back to the show every week and one of the most promising methods is with a cliffhanger. This mini-break also gives the viewers more time to speculate and talk about the show with friends. This kind of anticipation will make the show’s return and reveal much more exciting.
FBI Season 7, Episode 6’s Story Isn’t About Jubal
FBI season 7, episode 6, titled “Perfect”, is set to air at 8 p.m. on December 3, 2024. It follows the team as they track down a serial killer when women’s bodies start popping up around the city. Maggie also plays a bigger role in this episode, trying to balance being an FBI agent and a guardian to her niece, Ella. The one thing missing from the episode 6 story premise is any mention of Jubal.
While frustrating for audiences, not mentioning Jubal will maintain the air of mystery surrounding his fate. This makes it more likely that audiences will tune in to the episode for any glimpse of an answer about Jubal. Even though FBI season 7, episode 6 might not have more information about Jubal, audiences will get to see how the characters react to and adapt to his suspension.
FBI is a procedural drama that explores the workings of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s New York office as dedicated agents tackle high-stakes cases involving terrorism, organized crime, and various formidable threats.
