Speaking of getting much more invested, the daily Password Game is a puzzle that will require a heavy investment but will also draw you in the more you play it. There are lots of various mini-puzzles that drive this one and that you have to solve in order to get a correct answer. While your answer will vary every day and while yours might be different than your neighbors, that just means that you can create something new every day in this slightly weird but very engaging puzzle.
Today’s Connections Category Hints
NOVEMBER 20 #528
The right hints make a big difference in any puzzle game, and Connections is no different. To get the right combinations, you will want to have a lot of general trivia knowledge as that increases the odds you will know what words mean when you come across them. However, you can also have a hard time if there is one word you are not understanding, and you cannot figure out how it relates to the remaining words. To give you at least a better idea as to what’s happening in this puzzle, here are several clues:
- One category is about what you might hear coming from a particular creature
- One category has four verbs that have to do with presenting something in a virtual fashion
- One category is about words that describe how you make certain items in food service
- One category is about ways that certain groups describe themselves as

I am not sure I would be able to tell you what a dog’s BAY sounded like, but the other noises are all ones I have heard and am fairly familiar with. Although it is quite true that different dogs make different amounts of noises, and certain breeds tend to be much more vocal. Or, if you are like me and you have cats, you also learn that while very different, they are extremely chatty and love to sing the song of their people at the most inopportune moments – like two in the morning.

AIR |

RUN |
STREAM |
These are all words that those of us who spend our days online will be well familiar with. AIR is probably the least used one, as it is a leftover from radio days, but it is still popular enough that most people know what it means. RUN is likely the most confusing word in this category, just because it can mean so many different things, but this is a good place for it.

This is where things always go iffy for me, and today was no exception. MUDDLE was quite the strange word to add into what I was fairly certain was lunch or dinner items. This is especially true where I knew the others must have to do with food and couldn’t come up with the right word. My fellow baristas were no help at all. However, I do like the word MUDDLE and believe it’s a little underrated, but I didn’t expect to see it here.

Getting this last category on my own never had to happen, but I think I would have gotten it without CHAIN. I had all of the other three words guessed and in a neat little row trying to find the fourth word without much success. This was an unfortunate outcome for me, but in doing so I am able to prepare you to finish off the puzzle yourself. Use these clues to get the highest score possible with the least amount of hints.
